Educational Student Trips to the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica
All group trips include two, bilingual, professional guides that have experience in leading educational tours in Costa Rica , boat transport, lodging, three wholesome meals per day, and tours. The length, budget and activities within each of the programs can all be customized to fit the needs of your school or group. When planning a group trip to Costa Rica, one is faced with countless choices and decisions to make. Making these decisions can be overwhelming and we are here to inform, educate, and ensure that your experience is safe, educational and enlightening.
Our programs are ideal if your group wants to spend more time in the field than traveling from destination to destination. Students get settled in our jungle paradise for an entire week or more! There is so much to learn and do on the Osa, and no need to waste time and money on buses and constant transport.

Programs
Group leaders who organize a group of 8 or more full paying participants receive the program free of charge. This also applies to 2 group leaders with groups of 16 or more! Educators as well as university students who organize groups are considered group leaders.

Marine Biology
The marine biology program focuses on educating students about the incredible ocean biodiversity around Corcovado and Cano Island. This 7 day program includes:

Environmental Art
The environmental art program focuses on expressing environmental richness through creative works of art. This program combines workshops and excursions to inspire students with the biodiversity of the Osa Peninsula.
This 6 day program includes:

Survival Expeditions
If you are looking for a remote tropical location to host your next survival expedition, our 130-acre nature reserve next to the biggest national park in Costa Rica is perfect. The property was featured on the third episode of season one of Surviorman on the Discovery Channel for its untouched landscape and safe distance from our biological station. Our coastal forest offers opportunities for fishing and learning how to survive on marine life. Streams in the forest allow one to collect safe drinking water and fresh water shrimp, and our many edible tropical plants offer food sources as well.
Survival group leaders can choose the intensity level of their course. Groups can stay in our dorm or cabin accommodations or they can opt to camp. All meals and tours can be provided upon request. Possible tours include: Corcovado National Park tour, Corcovado National Park overnight camping tour, Cano Island Snorkeling, Tree Climbing (top roping), horseback riding, guided night hikes, medicinal plant hike, fishing, and kayaking.

Short Osa Excursion
The basic Osa visit program is designed for groups who only have time for a short visit to the Osa and want to get as much as they can out of four days. The price of this program does not include transport to or from San Jose but can be arranged upon request. This 4 day program includes:

Extreme Outdoor Education
The outdoor education program focuses on educating students about wilderness survival and tropical nature. Students will learn how to identify edible plants and fish, how to catch bait and fish with a handline, the many uses for coconuts, animal tracking techniques, trail maintenance, and basic survival skills. This 8 day program includes:

Sea Kayaking Expedition
Sea kayaking along the Osa Peninsula is a magical experience. Expeditioners can kayak along the coastline of the Corcovado National Park with a view of Cano Island on the horizon. Our kayaks support fishing poles for trolling so you can cast a line in our world class fishing waters. Continue past the San Pedrillo Station to explore the Llorona waterfall that falls straight onto the beach. There’s no better way to explore the coast of the Osa. You can ride a double or a single kayak, and families with small children can pop their tot in the child’s seat in the middle of our double kayaks.
